South Australia’s largest egg producer set to expand production by 70 per cent by 2016 BACK TO MEDIA South Australia's largest egg producer is about to begin a multi-million-dollar expansion in the state's Mid North. Days Eggs currently has just under 300,000 laying hens, with about a third of them in cages.
